Playa de Palma is changing

More and more gourmet restaurants and cool Ibiza-style bars are gracing the Playa de Palma. Hotels are being extensively renovated and often even upgraded to the next category. A change is taking place along the roughly 4.6-kilometre sandy beach, away from the “Ballermann” image towards small tapas bars, smoothie and cocktail bars and high-end gourmet temples. Everything is becoming more beautiful, more stylish and more upmarket, 365 days a year.

Property investment is picking up in this part of Mallorca, and you can find everything from stylishly renovated penthouses to newly built luxury apartments.

The proximity to the airport and Palma is fostering this change and steadily driving it forward.
